  • PSC Student Sophie Visits the Reminders Photography Stronghold

Third year Bachelor of Photography student Sophie Pigram recently visited Tokyo and was hosted by Japan's premier photobook library and workshop, the Reminders Photography Stronghold (RPS). This opportunity was made possible by Bachelor of Photography course coordinator Daniel Boetker-Smith, and Director of the RPS Yumi Goto.

Sophie is interviewing Yoshikatsu Fuji & Daichi Koda, two of Japan's most exciting young photographers, exclusively for the Photobook Melbourne Festival. Fuji and Koda are award winning photographers and in 2014 their (sold out) photo books were shortlisted for a number of major international prizes.

Photography Studies College is a proud sponsor of the Photobook Melbourne Festival (February 12-22), and will be hosting workshops, panel discussions, and book exhibitions.
