What do you like most about PSC?
I love the creative environment at PSC.

How different is your photography & conceptual skill now compared to the first week of the course?
It is vastly different. When I started at PSC the photos I was producing were never what I had in mind. Now I have the knowledge and skills to produce the images I want, and I am also able to formulate and develop a conceptual foho.

What has been your greatest challenge whilst studying at PSC?
The greatest challenge at the beginning was to combine family life with the demands of the course and make a commitment.

How does it feel to win an award at the CCP Salon?
I feel very proud. Without the skills gained at PSC I would never have won an award.

Tell us about the ideas behind your award winning work.
The image was part of a folio I completed for the first semester of the art major year. The concept originated from the passing away of a close family member. It was due to the support encouragement and feedback of the tutors and other students in the class throughout the semester that motivated me to create the images.

How has your study at PSC helped you In producing this work?
The technical skills and most importantly the creative skills I have developed over the last 4 years at the college have enabled me to produce the work.

What's your dream job? Where do you hope to be ten years from now?
I am looking forward to creating images, which I can exhibit.

What advice would you give to future students?
My advice is to be patient, allocate specific time to photography, believe in yourself and enjoy it.
