PSC First Year students went along to the Ballarat International Foto Biennale and had the opportunity to listen to photographer Osamu James Nakagawa talk about his images and his techniques.

"The presentation from James was inspiring and I loved his use of light and his creative techniques and the initiative he takes to go to those unusual places is admirable" Emily

The students found the day at the BIFB inspiring and it was a great opportunity for them to see work by many photographers...

"Brian Duffy captured the era of the 60's, his work was very versitle and his images are still relvant today" Miranda

"I liked that we were able to experience more than one gallery and see many images of different subject matter" Lauren

"The images shown in the Mining Exchange were inspirations, but I liked that we could relate to the artisits themes" Ashleigh
