Photojournalism Major students welcomed three PSC graduates back to the classroom a few weeks ago to share their experiences as working photojournalists.

Louise Cooper (PSC Graduation Award for Excellence in Photojournalism, 2010) talked about successfully relocating to Sydney and picking up a variety of editorial and commercial work there, about working for various NGOs, and about recently landing a full-time job in the Brand and Marketing Department of the University of Sydney.
Darrian Traynor (PSC 2009) offered insight to the world of the editorial freelancer in Melbourne, where he works regularly for The Media Gang, AFL Photos and Getty Images, specialising in sport, news, people and lifestyle.
Jason Edwards (PSC 2008) talked about his work as a press photographer, first for the Leader group in Melbourne and later for the Herald Sun, where he is one of the top young staff shooters.
All talked passionately about their experiences as photographers, shared many exciting images and stories from the field, and offered some tips and advice about navigating life in the real world APSC (After PSC).
