Quinn Rooney, one of Getty Images top sports photographers, and Getty stringer and all-around editorial shooter, Darrian Traynor (a 2009 PSC Photojournalism graduate) dropped in for an inspiring show-and-tell to the Photojournalism majors last week.
A surprise visitor was Michelle Tuddenham, National Account Manager for Canon Professional, who presented Quinn with his trophy and certificate for winning the Sport category at the recent Canon AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards. Quinn’s images, a couple of them truly amazing, stood out in a strong field and his win was well deserved.
