Katrin Koenning has exhibited nationally and internationally and published widely. She has won a number of awards, including Australia's Top Emerging Documentary Photographer (2011) and the 2012 JGS Award by the Forward Thinking Museum. She is a 2014 Renaissance as well as Bowness Prize finalist, with selected works showing at Monash Gallery of Art and Getty Images Gallery, London. Her work is included in the inaugural 2014 Aperture Summer Open (Aperture Gallery NY), and she was recently featured in #Latergram, an online group show by Humble Arts. Some of the other artists in the show were Alec Soth, Amy Elkins and Shane Lavalette.
Katrin is a former Editor of the Australian PhotoJournalist Magazine, a contributor for Featureshoot and a curatorial adviser for Wallflower Photomedia Gallery. She is represented in Australia by Edmund Pearce Gallery, Melbourne.
