We are pleased to invite PSC students, graduates and the general public to attend our first Image Makers seminar for 2015!
Louis Porter is a British photographer based between London and Melbourne. His work melds social commentary with an interest in the archive and public space. He has exhibited throughout Australia including: The NGV, Stills Gallery, Australian Centre of Photography and Centre for Contemporary Photography.
He was the 2013 Arts Victoria fellow at the Berlin Zentrum Für Kunst und Urbanistiks (ZK/U) and the Australia China Council artist during the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. His work has also been shown at several international festivals including: The Brighton Photography Biennial, The Noorderlicht Festival (NL) , Copenhagen Photography Festival and SiFest (IT).
His work has been recently featured in The British Journal of Photography, Foam Magazine, The Aperture Photobook Review and Fotgraf Magazine.
This is a free event however numbers are strictly limited. Bookings are required and can be made online via Eventbrite.
