Starting a New Chapter at PSC

Stephen Ronayne has just started his part time studies at PSC with teacher Scott McNaughton to guide him. Here's what he has to say after his first week of studying photography:

"I wasn't sure what to expect when I joined PSC. I come from a technical-engineering background, so I know all about the technical aspects related to photography -  like the intricacies of how a camera works! After a week of being at PSC, I feel that I'm now getting a good balance between the technical and artistic elements. I'm glad that I joined a course that caters to all types of people with varied skills."

The 'Awareness Walk' assignment that was given to us by Scott in our first week got us to think with a photographer's frame of mind. It made me think about the environment I was in. I now pay closer attention to everything that goes on in a particular place, rather than focusing on just one aspect."

We're glad Stephen has experienced a change in his perspective while being at PSC. He is still exploring avenues in photography that will lead him to his favourite subject and style. Looking at the pictures he's taken, we can surely say that Stephen is on an exciting path to exploring his wonderful talents in photography!
