Final year students Sarah Lynch (Photojournalism), Ruth Perry (Commercial) and David Lowry (Art) are part of a group exhibition opening on Wednesday 7 December. The exhibition will be held at the Clifton Creative Arts Centre and is a collaboration of visual artists using a variety of mediums from photography to painting and mosaic.
Sarah expressed her work as following life shadows and movement throughout Footscray, exploring lines, shapes and light through photography. The Clifton Creative Arts Centre is a multicultural centre for community arts development. The centre offers gallery space for the community, increasing cultural and arts diversity whilst supporting locally produced art and those that may be disadvantaged with limited access to mainstream venues. The centre promotes the exploration of the close relationship between art and spirituality in its uniquely Australian context. The upcoming Heartfelt exhibition will feature 9 artists doing just that.
The exhibition runs until 11 December so be sure to drop by.
