The Pathway Program students gave their final folio presentations on Saturday to their classmates and an assessment panel composed of teacher Mauro Risch, moderator Dr Hugh Hudson, and additional assessors Dr Michael Coyne, Dr Les Horvat, and Dr Jane Poynter.

The students showed still and moving images employing a variety of art, documentary and commercial approaches. The panel was impressed by a compelling, interactive video installation depicting features of urban technological infrastructure, as well as a photo essay on bespoke craftsmanship, powerful black and white images of women boxers, allegorical portraits featuring native and introduced flora, penumbral, dream-like landscapes evoking a woman’s changing identity over her life, and stylised, theatrical tableaux representing the emotional drama of human relationships, to mention just some of the highlights.
