  • 13a - PSC Student Exhibition at BSG

Brunswick Street Gallery
322 Brunswick Street
Fitzroy. VIC. 3065
Exhibition Dates: 18th January – 7th February 2013

The Brunswick Street Gallery currently has a group exhibition featuring a number of emerging photographers, including 3 students from PSC. Sarita Marwaha, Yuan Wang and Kylie Thomson are showcased with their outstanding work produced from previous PSC folios. Sarita's work (as shown here) focuses on Wabi Sabi, the Japanese aesthetic of finding beauty in the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. It recognises the inherent beauty of all that is worn; reflecting time, age and decay. Wabi-Sabi is based on the perception that, with age, things acquire a special beauty and elegance that is not contrived or artificial. It looks for grace, poetry and mystique in the most common of things.
Exhibition closes 7 February - don't miss it!
