This week’s Image Makers Webinar guest speaker is Filipina photojournalist Hannah Reyes Morales. She has reported on war crimes against women in Cambodia and South Sudan, and the toll of Rodrigo Duterte’s lawless war on drugs – and the impact colonisation on female body image in the Philippines.
Hannah’s documentary photography work is featured in leading international publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and National Geographic Magazine.

The World Economic Forum named Hannah a cultural leader in their Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) forum. Last year she received the Tim Hetherington Visionary Award when she participated in the World Press Photo’s Joop Swart Masterclass Hannah is also a 2020 National Geographic Explorer.
